Expectations.
It’s pretty stupid how this whole thing works.
When we love someone, we of course have expectations—that they would care as much as we do, that they would not do anything that would hurt us, that they would be honest with us, that they would love us back the same way.
When we have expectations, though, we set ourselves up to be bound for heartbreak and disappointment.
So, does this mean that when we love someone, we set ourselves up for heartbreak?
How cruel is that?
